September 2026 – Rollercoaster

Hello!! We are wrapping up an exciting eclipse season from August! Who had a crazy month? Just me?

There were big endings and beginnings that I noticed:

  • We had celebrities pass away, like Hayden Panettiere, Dolly Parton and Tim Curry.
  • My in-laws dog suddenly had to be put down. (My own dog got sick and I was very stressed for a second but we took her to the vet and she’s all better now!)
  • I also experienced two new big beginnings in my life: I got an exciting promotion and we also found our dream house and are in escrow! In times like this I really feel that I’m co-creating my life with the universe and so grateful!!

As a result of the craziness, this month’s calendar is a little…late. So you’re just getting a teaser right now, sorry!

Here’s some significant dates and heads-up for September:

  • Uranus goes retrograde on Sept 10 in Gemini (this is the biggest deal of the month! Uranus is the planet of upheavals and sudden change!!!)
  • New moon in Virgo on Sept 11
  • Libra season starts Sept 22
  • Full moon in Aries on Sept 26

For that Uranus retrograde, note that we will feel it strongly the 4-7 days before and after it goes direct because it will “slow down” before “turning around.”

For some reason I’m imagining this like karaoke night and Uranus is walking up on the stage, gets the mic to sing a song, then finishes and turns around and gets off the stage. Uranus has the microphone from Sept 6 to 14!

To top it off there is a new moon right in there, and since Uranus is all about new changes, those vibes will just be amplified. Get ready for the start of a fun new chapter!

I already know this is going to be crazy from conversations I’ve had with others and what I have going on in my own life:

  • 9/7 Important initiative at work I started is  finishing up
  • 9/8 I have two friends (who have the same initials M.R. lol!) one with a new job interview, one starting a new job
  • 9/9 I have headshots for my new job
  • 9/10 (Uranus stations retrograde)
  • 9/11 (New Moon)
  • 9/12 friend getting married (I’m traveling out of state to go)
  • 9/14 my mom is getting a pacemaker!!! (I’m sure she’ll be fine, she’s really excited lol I’m just stressed for her) and I start my new job!!!
  • 9/15, 9/17, 9/18  big deal meetings/workshops at work for me and my spouse (who will be out of state on a business trip!)

When it rains it pours. This is just an example of how astrology sometimes just sets up waves in your life to all hit at the same time. It really just blows me away. And this is just the stuff I already know about ahead of time! Who knows what kind of surprises Uranus has in store that will arise out of nowhere! (Deep breaths lol)

There are a number of trine aspects this month so hopefully some heavenly vibes will abound and things will all work out. They usually do in the end 😉

We’re still feeling the ricochets of the eclipse season somewhat strongly for a few more weeks and will slowly fade over the next months and simmer down again.

Lots of planets retrograde right now:

  • Saturn
  • Neptune
  • Pluto
  • And now Uranus

More retrogrades starting next month with Venus going retrograde on October 3, and mercury retrograde on Oct 24 as well. As the retrogrades settle in, take this as an opportunity to take a beat, sit back, contemplate your life. See what you think about all the changes that have occurred.

As you process everything the planets will turn direct again. Pluto will be direct October 16. We’ll slowly start ramping up our direct placements more later this fall in November and December.

Astrology will always offer us periods of direct and retrograde activity.

All year, every year.

Rinse, repeat.

Wax on, wax off.

Take it one step at a time.

Quote for the month brought to you by the poet Mary Oliver:

“The world offers itself to your imagination.”

Now get out there and have some fun!
